Tobacco-free schools are a proven way to prevent youth tobacco use.

South Carolina law requires all public school districts to adopt and enforce a tobacco-free schools policy. By doing so, we can create a healthy environment for everyone, protecting youth, school staff and visitors from exposure to secondhand smoke and vaping aerosols.
